Nanjing Chuangbo Sponsors the 3rd International Summit Forum on Polymer Foaming and Porous Materials during Jul.26-27, 2022

In order to accurately fit the rapid and high-quality development of new material changes, share the latest progress in advanced polymer foaming and porous materials, preparation technology, and engineering applications. On July 26, the “3rd Polymer Foaming and Porous Materials Summit Forum (PFPM)”, hosted by Polymer Foaming and Porous Materials Special Committee of SAMPE China Mainland Association and jointly organized by Northwestern Polytechnical University, Fujian Institute of Technology, and Beijing Lightward Exhibition Co., Ltd., was successfully held in Xi'an.

On the first day of the conference, a total of 28 offline reports and 6 online reports were invited. The morning meeting was hosted by Professor Zhang Guangcheng from Northwestern Polytechnical University and Professor Peng Xiangfang from Fujian Engineering College. After the opening ceremony, Academician Chul B. Park of the University of Toronto, Academician Fang Yu of Shanxi Normal University, Prof. Chen Xiazong of Taiwan Chung Yuan University, Prof. Huang Shixin of Taiwan Hiking University of Science and Technology, and Dean Zhang Qiuyu of Northwestern Polytechnical University presented reports on effect of foaming on the electrical conductivity of conductive polymer composites, high-quality foamed polystyrene based on soft template, effective control of cell quality in supercritical fluid foam injection molding process using pressure-temperature multiple combination paths, adsorption and removal of lead (II) and cadmium (Cd II) heavy metals in wastewater by nylon 6/linen composite micro-foaming injection molding, the construction and performance of biomimetic functional membrane materials for flax composite micro-foaming injection molding products.

In the next day and a half of the conference, a number of academic reports are presented. Nanjing Chuangbo Machinery Co., Ltd. sponsored the event and showed the latest progress of carbon dioxide supercritical foaming in PET foaming, PP foaming, PA foaming, PBAT foaming and elastomer foaming etc.
